Dermabond by Ethicon provides both skin closure and microbial protection for a variety of surgical procedures.

Studies on file show that Dermabond is an effective barrier to microbial penetration and show significantly fewer incidences of SSI. 

Sloughs off in 5-10 days.

Dermabond comes in a few different versions:

• Dermabond MINI - small vial for use in the emergency room 
• Dermabond Regular - vial for use in emergency and operating rooms
• Dermabond ProPen - ease of use and improved control
• Dermabond Advanced - improved formula and ease of use, only one layer required
